Established in 1990 by the New Horizon Education & Scientific Access Trust (NEAT), New Horizon School is led by the visionary Dr. Samina Rahbari. A National Scholarship holder with a Ph.D. in Education & Child Psychology, Dr. Rahbari has dedicated over 20 years to lectureship and social service.

Our Legacy

The city Bhagalpur, located on the bank of holy river Ganga, is situated in the centre of Bihar. It is famous as ''Silk City'' as well as a proper place to shape the personality & good academic career. No doubt educational institution acquires an important role in shaping ones career. Considering above features, trustees of New Horizon Education & Scientific Access Trust (NEAT) decided in the year 1990, to establish New Horizon School under the guidance of Dr. Samina Rahbari the chairperson of the trust.

Our Leadership

Dr. Samina Rahbari, Chairperson of the Trust & Director cum Principal (Founder) since 1991, of New Horizon School (An affiliated wing of CBSE New Delhi) is throughout first class & national scholarship holder. She has done Ph.D. in Education & Child Psychology. She also worked as a programme incharge of Bhagalpur & Banka district from 1998 to 2002. She launched & successfully run the Alternative Schooling & Early Child Education Programme in Bihar, Education Project, Patna & was nominated by the Governor of Bihar for literacy programme at State Level.

Our Commitment

She has experience as a Lecturer for more than 20 years & has been appointed as examiner of psychology for last 10 years continuously. She has fully devoted & dedicated her life for the development of education in society without any discrimination of caste, creed & community. She strictly follows the objectives of the Trust ie. "Service to Mankind". She is by birth a vocal artist which plays an important role in cultural activities.

  • Expertise: Former Program In-Charge for Bihar Education Project; state-level nominee for literacy by the Governor of Bihar.

  • Recognition:

  • Dr. Samina Rahbari (Chairperson & Director, New Horizon Group of Institutions) was honored with the “Bharat Pratibha Samman” at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi, for her remarkable contribution in the field of education and women empowerment.
    She received this prestigious award from the Hon’ble Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Vijender Gupta, along with Padma Vibhushan awardee, renowned Kathak dancer and former Rajya Sabha MP, Sonal Mansingh.           

  • Recipient of the “Educationist” Nari Samman (2012), “Best Principal” by Lions Club (2013), and named among the 100 Highly Effective Principals (2016).

  • Mission: Fully committed to the motto “Service to Mankind,” she leads an institution focused on education without discrimination.
